Exhibition in the Slovak National Museum<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The exhibition in the Archaeological Museum of the Slovak National Museum of Archaeology focuses on the pre-Roman period (Iron Age) and the Roman period. It will present visitors with finds from mounds from the older Iron Age-Halstatic Age from Blatn\u00e1 na Ostrove, Dunajsk\u00e1 Lu\u017en\u00e1 – Nov\u00e9 Ko\u0161ar\u00edsk and Doln\u00ed Janik. The findings of the Younger Iron Age are related to the Celts, who inhabited the area before the arrival of the Germans and Romans. The main part of the exhibition is devoted to the Roman period. It presents finds from the Roman camp of Gerulata and from Germanic sites from the Roman period. Of particular interest are the finds from the so-called “princely” graves of the Germanic elites from Zohora and Vysok\u00e1 pri Morave, exhibited in this way completely for the first time. The collection items are complemented by video documents as well as 3D visualizations of the research. <\/p>\n
